The Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Bhutan signed a Grant Agreement for the project to construct the Royal Centre for Infectious Diseases (RCID) in Gidakom Hospital.

The Ministry of Health received the 2022 UN Interagency Task Force and the WHO Special Program on Primary Health Care Award which was received virtually by the Hon’ble Sowai Lyonpo Dasho Dechen Wangmo last evening during the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly side event held in New York, United States.

Member countries of WHO South-East Asia Region adopted the Paro Declaration committing to Universal Access to People-centered Mental Health Care and Services.
