Say NO to junk food. #OurGyenkhu#HealthyDrukyul

“Junk food” refers to foods loaded with sugar, salt, saturated and trans fat that contribute lots of calories but have little to no nutritional value. They are low in satiation value which means people don’t tend to feel as full when they eat them which can lead to overeating. Eating junk foods regularly can put you at risk of various non-communicable diseases. Therefore, let us try to be the change we want to see! We sincerely hope that these new behaviors are incorporated into our daily lives and carried forward even beyond COVID-19.
