39 new cases were detected in the past 24 hours. Thirty-six are male and three are female and the age range is 3 to 31 years. The break down is as follows:-

• One is a primary contact quarantined in a facility in Paro.
• Thirty-eight are close contacts detected in Thimphu; 34 are from Zilukha super zone and 4 are from Changzamtog.

Meanwhile, one person is being declared recovered.
