Three new cases detected during the last 24 hours. One is a 40-year-old Royal Bhutan Army personnel and the other is a 44-year-old official working at the Mini Dry Port. Both are contacts of cases detected earlier in Phuntsholing. The army personnel was in self-contained premises and the MDP official was at the facility quarantine at the time of detection. The third is a 25-year-old female from Samdrup Jongkhar detected through the mass screening of Samdrup Jongkhar. They will be moved to isolation later today. Meanwhile, one other person is being declared recovered.

Definitions:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: the number of people who have tested negative on the COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
