Hon’ble Health Minister met with Mr. Toshihiro Tanaka on 15th December 2014. The highlights of the discussion were on the achievement made so far in health with support from UNFPA including capacity building, improving maternal and child health, procurement and supplies of contraceptives.
The following were the areas discussed for future support:
- Expansion of EmONC
- Capacity building of health workers
- Improving cervical cancer screening
- Contraceptives procurement and supplies
